Internet and Network Management Services

SPARCC provides services to member districts enabling their access to the Ohio Education Computer Network (OECN) and the Internet. High speed circuits connects every district to the SPARCC office which is connected to the OECN and Internet. The district connections are carefully monitored and protections are set in place to guard against harmful and unwanted intrusions. Network planning support is provided to the member districts and the districts participate in group purchasing opportunities. SPARCC distributes hundreds of thousands of electronic mail messages on a daily basis. These messages are screened to prevent the transfer of spam and viruses.
