Distance Learning Services
SPARCC provides services to member districts which enable them to link to content providers outside the district boundaries. This enables students to visit the ends of the earth and speak with people not otherwise available. There is a world of information available outside text books and distance learning allows students to see instructional materials in new and different ways. Connections are regularly made to museums, zoos, universities, hospitals and other places which have educational content to offer.

- Help desk and on-site support during normal business hours and via pager after hours
- Training for participating staff
- Coordination of schools and content providers
- Grant writing and management
- Coordination of higher education distance learning initiatives
- Oversight and coordination of all program aspects
- Distance learning listserv and website
- Video network support
- Leadership for exploring and implementing distance learning opportunities and programming
