Ohio school districts are required to teach their students to master selected content standards so that the students are prepared for life after graduation. Tracking student mastery of academic content standards is no small feat and requires tools to maintain the large amounts of data associated with this task.
Pinnacle Instruction is a software tool that enables teachers to deliver assessments tied to academic content standards and return the results to their Pinnacle Gradebook automatically. This software eliminates the need to score the tests or enter the results. Instead, the teacher can concentrate on providing instruction to their students. Within the Pinnacle Gradebook, the teacher can easily determine which standards have been mastered and provide intervention to areas where it is needed.
SPARCC provides a team of employees to provide the support and training needed to effectively use this software in the classroom. This team provides training sessions to district employees enabling them to implement the software in their schools. On a day to day basis, SPARCC team members work with the district employees to facilitate its effective use with teachers and students.
